16 Year Old Floridian Sneaks to Iraq
A 16
year old boy from Florida ran off to Iraq for his Christmas
vacation, in an attempt to try his hand at immersion
journalism.
Horribly foolish, and terribly irresponsible, but you
know I rather envy him: it’s a great story to dine out on for the
rest of his life. Who among us hasn’t wanted to enjoy a bit of an
adventure? And what adult is willing to risk it? Heck, when I was 16 I
would have thought this a capital idea.
