Happy Thursday!
Whilst in Boulder this evening, I happened upon an event which seems to
be known simply as Happy Thursday. Folks ride around on their bikes,
circle about through traffic, shout Happy Thursday!
to passers-by
and generally make nuisances of themselves. It was mondo fun.
There was one guy with a unicycle, and another with a penny-farthing,
one hauling a trailer with a stereo, and yet another dressed as a cow.
There were small children (indeed, one lad on a one-speed put everyone
else to shame with his energy!) and old men. There were guys &
gals. Much fun was had by all. I took some photos; if any of them came
out, I’ll post them sooner or later.
